Alias Aashish Gupta, Berlin based Bangalore DJ/Music producer and co-founder of ModeMusic, found himself on his music journey back in 2010. His appreciation of the undercuts of early electronic music moved him to create one half of the duo, TechNomads, with which he continues to tour and traverse the Indian electronic space.

In 2018, he found himself following the path of music to Berlin, where he evolved into AAGUU. He put out his first record in 2019 along with Todh Teri called “Deep in India Vol 6”, which is an ode to his love for the 80’s Indian cinema music. Since then, he has been playing across festivals and clubs in Europe and India, sharing stage with the likes of Gerd Janson, Alex Kassian, Axel Boman, Ame, Studio Barnhus and more; exploring his musical roots of Italo-disco while discovering his passion for the sounds of the 90’s and early 2000’s.
