Renowned for his excellent knowledge and his holistic approach to music, as well as his technical wizardry behind the turntables, Danilo Plessows career sees constant redefinition, a curiosity for breaching into new genres and explorations of new sounds.
Likewise, Danilo has never stopped searching for new outlets to express himself through his own music —the MCDE imprint saw the now legendary \"Raw Cuts\" series, whilst he explored all kinds of styles through other projects such as Inverse Cinematics, Vermont, Basic:variation, Jayson Brothers and more. He also continues to deliver inspiring remixes, from Tony Allen and Billy Cobham, Caribou to Dj Sprinkles.
He branched outside of the electronic music scene with his soul- and disco-focused label „Space Grapes“, where he produced several bands in a fully analog environment, recreating some of the magic of the 1970s and 80s. The label has developed a cult-like following and gathered support from all corners of the music scene, from Gilles Peterson and Mark Ronson to Palms Trax and Masters at Work.
„Rude Futures“ is his latest sonic adventure, this time with a darker, more twisted turn, and marks his return to electronic music.
The name serves as a meta commentary on the realities of the modern digital age, the dawn of AI and its impact on art and society.
„Acid Reaction“, released on Rush Hour, is the first in this series of new releases.
