Jennifer Loveless is a palpable force behind the decks, a take-notice producer, and an all around stand-out talent with over a decade of experience under her belt.
The Toronto-born Australian-resident is a diverse selector who found her love of club music through its most fundamental element; dance. The queer artist is now based in Europe and has since been turning heads in the region, The Guardian UK has listed her as 2023’s artist to watch.
And with good reasoning.
Her most recent EP, Around The World, released on Butter Sessions hit the Best Of\'s for the year with accolades from Pitchfork Magazine, Resident Advisor, and Bandcamp. Her debut European tour included notable gigs: Panorama Bar, Horoom at Bassiani, Maricas Mxricas, IsBurning, Boiler Room, Body Movements, Lost Village and more. She annually headlines festivals in Australia where she began her DJ journey nearly ten years ago, including being a resident DJ for both Pitch Music & Arts Festival, Gaytimes Festival.
Her love of music is not bound by genre, though she loftily goes under the banner of house and techno. What always comes across is her penchant for the emotional, the fun and her love of the club. Jennifer has supported international heavyweights DJ Sprinkles, Ben UFO, Steffi and Midland. In North America she’s performed alongside artists-to-watch Ambien Baby, D.Tiffany and Korea Town Acid.
The breadth of her talent comes through not only in live performance, but in her collaborations. In just a few years she’s released on Sex Tags UFO, Planet Euphorique, Body Verse, Pure Space, Butter Sessions, Permanent Vacation and contributed a track to Jayda G’s critically acclaimed DJ Kicks compilation on !K7. Receiving praise from Laurent Garnier, Bill Brewster, Extrawelt, Bandcamp and Music Editor Andrew Ryce who described her sophomore EP \'Water\' as “the kind of career-making EP that most artists could only hope for their second-ever record to sound like.” Alongside these projects, Jennifer also writes for screen for clients Nike, Timberland, Posmos and more.
Primed and ready, 2023 looks to be a banner year worldwide for Jennifer Loveless.
