John Xie is a London-based DJ, organizer, host on Netil Radio and head of Orientate, a London-based event series, focused on highlighting East Asian talent and scenes.

Currently based in East London, John has spent over a decade in both New York and London underground scenes, supporting artist communities, DJing and throwing grassroots parties.

He reaches for a sound that is equal parts driving and kinetic, but also emotive, and which stretches across the spectrum of house, techno, breaks and bass music - drawing upon his years of experience in the transatlantic underground.

In 2024, he’s played venues throughout London including The Cause, Pickle Factory, Ormside Projects, Night Tales and more.
