Local Sun [Patrick Casabuena] has been making his rounds in Manila’s underground DJ scene since late 2015. He is easily the most daring selector in the collective and this is evident through his eclectic sets — blending highly tasteful techno with unexpected twists and turns through leftfield genres. He has notably opened for for international acts like DJ Boring, Crazy P, and C’est Qui; apart from Manila’s best underground talents. He has played local events from several UNKNWN nights as well as a DJ set in Malasimbo in 2019. Local Sun also contributes as Transit Records’ director of photography.
