Occa hails from snowy Sapporo, located in the northern-most region of Hokkaido, Japan.

Aside from inviting renowned DJs including Peter Van Hoesen, DJ Nobu, Haruka, DJ Yazi and IORI to his Archiv parties at legendary Sapporo club, Precious Hall, Occa has cemented himself as a respected DJ in his own right.

He has played at Future Terror and Gong, organized by DJ Nobu as well as Exit the Labyrinth and Balance by Mindgames, and Dommune×Boiler Room. Each performance aims to engage listeners on a trip through sound, creating an elaborate storyline via his deft mixing. Although his set constitutes of existing techno sounds, he expertly weaves tracks to craft new sounds and create futuristic techno-style elements.
