Roshan Menon is a DJ, producer and creative based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is the Founder of music imprint SaturdaySelects and Co-Founder of electronic music label Laksa Records.

Having started DJ-ing in 2016, Roshan’s first foray into the music scene in KL was DJing and promoting parties through SaturdaySelects. This eventually led to booking international DJs, and stints as a Music Director and spearheading the Marketing teams for local clubs.

Roshan’s DJ sets have been described as “Hypnotic, Groovy & Soulful”. His effortlessness in weaving between genres has allowed him to explore his love of Electronic music, Funk, Jazz & Hip-Hop allowing him to create a unique atmosphere for dance music lovers who join him on the dance floor.

Over the years, Roshan has had the pleasure of playing alongside the likes of La Mamies, Benji B, Shubostar Bambounou, Musclecars, Jarreau Vandal, Yung Singh Branko & Didi Han to name a few. Music has also allowed him to travel and play in Amsterdam, Porto, Paris, Tokyo, South Korea, Bali and Sydney that has connected him with many producers and DJs in these cities which have fostered new relationships and collaborative opportunities.

Recently getting into music production, Roshan released his first EP “Summer Islands” with November Rose in 2021, and has done remixes for regional labels like Love International (Bali) ,FuFu Records (HK) Ohrwurm (KL) and Ballloom Records (TH). You can expect to hear more original music from him in 2023.

He also hosts the fortnightly SaturdaySelects Radio show and regularly drops DJ mixes that showcase new finds that he enjoys.
