Through his raves organised in hangars, beaches and abandoned bunkers, Yunus is part of a generation of DJs and producers trained in Hong Kong. Current resident artist in different sound systems, clubs and festivals around the world, such as Shi Fu Miz and Potato Head, co founder of Transarctica label and founding member of Fauve Radio, Yunus has extensive experience with decks in all its formats. Linking a broad musical spectrum and a boundless vision of a cleverly mixed genre, ranging from bass Uk, Trance influence to “balearics” rarities, his DJ sets blend into a distinct and eclectic selection, playing on his oriental origins without falling into the Orientalist cliché, with an alternative approach to DJing culture.
