METRØ kicks off the year in Hanoi at club mecca Savage for another vinyl special night with two huge bookings from Japan and Brazil.

Headlining in the cube will be one of the most highly respected DJs who represents the vibrant underground techno scene in Japan - Norio Yamazaki aka yama'.

A prominent figure since his debut in 1998, yama' brings with him over two decades of experience and knowledge after working as a club music buyer for Japan's esteemed Technique record store. Earning the reputation as a trusted selector and tight mixing skills it will be a proper masterclass from the master himself.

Opening the night in the cube will be a pillar of the Brazilian scene, Lourene. Technique and versatility are consequences of the intimacy she develops when she expands her research between different strands of House Music, Techno and Trance from the 90s and of the present, always looking for analogical sounds. Characteristics that elevated her experience with music and transported her to unique presentations at various festivals, parties and clubs across her country, in South America and in Europe. She was the first brazilian woman to play on RTS FM and was equally recognized by participating in “Pulso” - Red Bull Station (São Paulo), standing out as “Vanguard of a Cultural Movement”.

In the Anteroom will be two mainstays of Hanoi's scene, Mirage resident Vanderbeak and Atipik's DJ/producer Tobes. Tobes has been making a name for himself both as a DJ performing at major events in the region such as Wonderfruit festival and as a producer/live act with his major release Energy EP on Miura records. Catch him for playing classic house, UKG and 90s breakbeats for some major feel good vibes. The final stop after these stellar artists will be residents Shandon and Zwi closing the Red Cube to complete the METRØ experience.
