Ancut [IT]
Ancut is an Italian DJ and producer based in Berlin, also known as mastering and vinyl cutting engineer at Analogcut, and for his imprint Discarded Gems.
Marco Pellegrino’s musical taste was shaped mainly by club nights happening in Brancaleone and Goa club in Rome in early 2000’s, opening his views on the Detroit sound and his North-European reinterpretations. Meanwhile he approached DJing, and started digging into diverse styles, selecting over the last 15 years an extremely versatile records collection, that shapes his current sound.
The love for the analogue domain is evident also in his productions, where computer-free hardware sessions are recorded straight to tape.
