After a short break, Atipik is back to The Observatory, bringing together the raw energy and underground sounds that define the heart of electronic music. Set against the legendary backdrop of Saigon’s most iconic venue, we’re pushing the boundaries of genre and atmosphere, creating a space where music, art, and community collide.

Headlining the night is Sunsiaré who is best known as the programmer of Hong Kong institution 宀 (Min) but real heads know him for deep DJ sets. A Sunsiaré gig oozes grit and tension–starry-eyed melodies set the mood before quivering basslines and broken drums apply pressure. Bridging heady strains of dance music with raw, funky club anthems, his selections move across shadowy techno, interstellar electro and lithe breaks, hitting the sweet spot where escapism, adrenaline and mystique meet.

Joining Sunsiaré is Dj Stav, another key player in Saigon’s music scene as the founder of Vinagroove record store and Atipik crew (Anh Vy, Tobes and Techa). Anh Vy is the current resident of Obs and program manager at Hanoi’s new underground mecca Unmute known for his eclectic music selection. Tobes, the newest member of Atipik who will be performing live
experimenting with sounds and sequences that are mixed and arranged on the fly, whilst creating an immersive atmosphere to draw the audience in. Techa, one of the founders of Atipik collective, bringing his powerful and colorful music by selecting old school techno, house and electro tracks.
