Licaxxx が主宰するオンライン型のラジオプラットフォーム Tokyo Community Radio (以下 TCR)が新たにイベントシリーズをローンチ。
コロナ禍の2020年に、東京を含む全国5都市を繋げて行ったオンラインイベント communities をリアルイベントへと発展させ、日本全土に深く広がるローカルコミュニティを紹介しながら、成長著しいアジア圏を始め、欧米圏へも着実にコネクトしていくための新たな一歩となる。

有機的に循環するその輪の中心となるのは、主宰である Licaxxx を筆頭とする TCR レジデント、すでに現行ローカルシーンの核を担う世代と、今後よりシーンに厚みをもたらしていく新世代。イベントごとに様々な DJ が入れ替わり立ち替わりながら、シーンとコミュニティを拡張させ、新たなアクションが生まれていく瞬間に注目し、そしてぜひ参加して体感していただきたい。

そして今回は2F に、4/1と4/2に国立競技場で開催される YOSHIROTTEN による大規模インスタレーション SUN にてオープニングイベントでパフォーマンスを行う NY 拠点のアーティスト、Debit の出演が緊急決定。
出身地であるメキシコを始め、南米～北米と広い電子音楽コミュニティに携わってきた彼女は、土着的な音楽をユニークな手法で再構築し、アヴァンギャルドなサウンドや、時にドローンのテイストであったり、メランコリーなアンビエンスへと昇華していくプロデューサーとして高く評価を受ける一方で、自然と沈ませたくなるラテン・クラブミュージックのスイングを現行テクノのフレームワークに焼き付けるような DJ としても支持を集めている。また2022年には、自身のルーツであるメキシコ・マヤ文明の管楽器についての研究を、AI に学習させて開発した創造的な電子楽器によって構築した、野心的なエレクトロ・アコースティック作品"The Long Count"を2nd アルバムとして発表したばかり。その独自の世界観が DJ というスタイルを通じて如何様に昇華されるのか必見である。

Tokyo Community Radio (TCR), an online radio platform run by Licaxxx, has launched a new event series.
The online event “communities”, which connected five cities across Japan, including Tokyo, in 2020 during the pandemic, will be developed into a real event, introducing local communities that spread deeply throughout Japan, and is a new step toward steadily connecting to the fast-growing Asian region as well as to the Western world.

At the center of this organically circulating circle are the TCR residents, led by Licaxxx, the organizer of the festival, the generation that already forms the core of the current local scene, and the new generation that will bring even more depth to the scene in the future. We hope you will join us and experience the moment when the scene and community expand and new actions are born, as the various DJs change from one event to the next.
