An alternate dimension where art and electronic music intersect.
LDG brings SPECTACLE back to Daikanyama UNIT/SALOON after two years of silence!
SPECTACLE was launched in 2021 at the now-defunct ageHa, one of Japan’s largest clubs, and continued in 2023 at WOMB — both editions developed under the theme of indoor festivals.
The new edition of SPECTACLE puts a rare focus on audiovisual experience within the techno scene. With a concept inspired by modern art, the festival has been reimagined, a forward-looking vision from Tokyo that stretches years into the future.
At UNIT, where the lineup centers on sound and visual innovation, LDG invites Gábor Lázár from legendary experimental electronic label Raster-Media, known as one of the world’s leading forces in avant-garde sound.
Headlining the night is Japan’s globally renowned underground hero, DJ Nobu.
Adding further depth, UK-based Lynne, rooted in drum and bass, will deliver a DJ set, while O-MA, one of Japan’s foremost modular synth artists and YUTA’s music production partner, will present a Hybrid Set combining Live and DJ elements.
On visuals, UKAWA NAOHIRO, founder of DOMMUNE and a true pioneer of the VJ scene, unveils his long-awaited performance. Tsujita Naoto, LDG’s resident VJ, who has brought his talent to numerous Tokyo venues.
At SALOON, with its theme of raw and direct expression, the lineup welcomes cutting-edge European acts Altinbas, a resident at Belgium’s prestigious club FUSE, and Aiken, a headliner from Spain’s powerhouse label Non Series.
Supporting them are local DJs Shinsuke Goto, founder of After Life, and LDG’s own mastermind YUTA, both performing rare themed sets.
For SALOON’s spatial production, KUKAN, the solo project of Taiki Kusakabe (core member of Mirrorbowler).
and fuwatty, who projects unique lasers at axiom, a techno party known only to insiders in the Tokyo underground scene
Meanwhile, moonrisedrop, Tokyo’s underground techno scene through cosmic installations at the party Axiom, will embody the art × techno spirit of SPECTACLE.
Music, visuals, and space unite as one to create a singular, unrepeatable experience.
The reborn SPECTACLE once again emerges from Tokyo as a festival of electronic music and art that transcends time.
