TRICO, an underground electronic music festival, will take place from September 11 to 13, 2026, at Valley Hub, an open grass field within High1 Resort in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do. Created through a collaboration among DJs representing Korea’s underground club scene, TRICO is built on a DIY ethos and the kind of experience that only an out-of-season ski slope can offer.
What TRICO values most is the music. As large-scale festivals grow increasingly commercial, TRICO seeks to recover what this shift has worn away from underground dance music. In a free and raw atmosphere, audiences encounter carefully selected music, bodies in motion, the night air, and the openness of the meadow all at once.
The lineup features Antwork, Deepmind, FFAN, Jama, Juncheol, Kibum, Kugel, Mimiq, Minkyu, Scøpe, Siot, Sunghoon, Xanexx, and Yeonjun — artists drawn from Korea’s leading clubs and party scenes and selected to reflect the festival’s musical vision.
The venue is a ski slope transformed into a meadow. TRICO chose a space that becomes a snow-covered incline in winter and a grass field in summer. The natural surroundings near Untangodo, the wide-open meadow, and the separation from the city give audiences a sense of immersion far removed from everyday life.
It also matters that the site is not untouched wilderness but a managed natural space. Audiences can experience the restorative quality of nature and the energy of electronic music at the same time.
The festival runs on a single stage. Rather than scattering the audience across multiple stages, TRICO brings people closer together so that everyone shares the same music at the same moment. Through a continuous flow of house, deep house, minimal, tech house, and techno, audiences can experience the breadth of Korea’s underground electronic music in one place.
Accessibility and comfort are strengths as well. The site is located within High1 Resort, with a range of nearby accommodation options, including the resort’s own condominiums. Detailed transportation and shuttle information will be announced ahead of the festival.
Damp air, wet grass, and fog at dawn gradually draw audiences deeper into the experience. Lighting is kept minimal and concentrated around the stage and camping areas so that the moonlight, starlight, and landscape itself remain central to the atmosphere.
