This Friday we welcome a powerful emerging Korean female DJ from Nantes - Soyoon. A fiery artist with a dark and mystical sound, she brings her EBM, trance, new wave and sulfurous disco to our cavern for the first time. Having made an electrifying debut on Boiler Room’s From the Counter shows as well as HOR Berlin, she has also shared the stage with Vladimir Ivkovic, Helena Hauff, David Vunk, Dr. Rubinstein, Roi Perez, Donato Dozzy, Anastasia Kristensen and more. Her talent on vinyl mixing and her visionary approach to parties have taken her to clubs around the world. Soyoon is currently a resident at the Nantes club Macadam, popular for its long-format daytime parties, as well as Cocktail d’Amore, Rinse France radio and we look forward to welcoming her to our family at 宀. She will be joined by our music director Sunsiaré who will be adding his signature driving techno and progressive tones to the mix. Looking forward to this one!
Soyoon is a visionary artist who embodies a strong idea of the party, burning and dancing. With an unfailing dexterity, she handles the vinyl as a mystical conductor, mixing in her sets a dark E.B.M. with as much luminous Trance, lancinating New Wave and sulfurous Disco.
From her love for electronic music, she developed a real passion for djing, passion that she transmits today through electrifying, federative and uncompromising sets. She made her debut on the Boiler Room's From the Counter shows, alongside Ron Morelli, and then went on to share the stage with Vladimir Ivkovic, Helena Hauff, David Vunk, Dr. Rubinstein, Roi Perez, Donato Dozzy, Anastasia Kristensen, Eliott Litrowski, Oliver Hafenbauer and S.O.N.S., to name just a few.
Present on the international scene, her talents as a DJ and her vision of the party have taken her behind the decks of clubs in Berlin, Helsinki, Hanoi, Bristol, Belgrade or Hong Kong.
Resident at the Nantes club Macadam (popular for its long format daytime parties and costumed "Gloria"), also at the Berlin parties Cocktail d'Amore, Rinse France radio and 宀 in Hong Kong.
