Friday 12th May, we warmly welcome the LAPITA festival crew straight out of Japan.

The night will consist of 2 DJ crew members from LAPITA who are NOCO (Paramount Festival) and OCCA (Archiv / Approx). They'll be playing along with our resident DJ, Krit Morton.

The night will be a very special journey of electronic music from the early evening through the end.

About LAPITA Festival

“LAPITA” takes its name from The people of ancient East Asian Lapita in Polynesia, who reportedly experienced a rhythmic session for the first time in the history of mankind and settled on the Pacific islands.

After recent years of disconnect and isolation, we aim to gather and re-connect with artists from various countries in Asia, from Veterans, and up-and-coming new and young artists who will shape the next generation of the scene locally and globally.

About Guests

NOCO

With a base rooted in the early days of the Japanese underground Trance scene, NOCO has slowly & gradually developed her sound to a psychedelic rhythm and groove stretching between Techno & Trance.
Currently, she is a member of PARAMOUNT, an outdoor party that she has been hosting since 2013, and continues to explore herself as a resident DJ.

She is also active in the club scene, updating her own expression as well as that of the floor, always aiming for even higher levels of performance.

OCCA

Based in snowy Sapporo, located in the northernmost region of Hokkaido, Japan, OCCA is involved in various activities including as a DJ or an event organizer.

His parties all have different concepts, including: “Archiv”, a Techno party at the legendary Sapporo club, Precious Hall; “ApproX.”, an open-air party from Hokkaido; “Phantom Center” with a more experimental approach and more recently, “Sect”, at Tokyo club Vent.

As a DJ, he aims to open up new dimensions of music by incorporating techno from across the global field and building up a well-thought-out story through his deft mixing.

OCCA has garnered a name for himself in Japan and has been invited to play sets at various clubs and open-air parties across the country.

He has played at events including Future Terror, The Labyrinth / Exit The Labyrinth / Balance organized by Mindgames, Star Festival, Re: birth, Liquid drop groove and Moment.

From his performance at these events, OCCA has cemented himself as a respected DJ in his own right.
