Lace up your dancing shoes and join us at Tuff Club, as Paris-based producer and DJ Zimmer delivers the melodies, all bright and sparkly for your weekend night dancing. One of the most intriguing artists of the critically acclaimed Roche Musique, Zimmer is part of the new wave of Parisian producers redefining French electronic music with his unique style that is both bright and eclectic.
Within ten years, DJ and producer Zimmer carved himself a place among artists who are writing the future of electronic music. Having started with glistening disco, euphoric and mental house, Zimmer has created his own musical identity over the years. Notably with "ZIMMER" (2019), his first album, an indulgent journey into the electronic world. A rollercoaster of solar and sad, melodic, and experimental electro, where he's just as comfortable in the intimacy of his living room as he is in the unison of the dancefloor. A somewhat critiqued and public success brought him close to household names such as Jamie XX, Paradis, Moderat, Caribou, Four Tet, Agar Agar, Rone or Bicep, thanks to his ingenuity and ability to surf between genres, keeping with the past while still inventing the future.
Within ten years of relentless dedication to club culture, Zimmer has mixed in the best clubs and festivals on the planet (including a notable appearance at the renowned Coachella in California), not to mention his long annual tours travelling America and Asia in every direction. A growing success, doubled by a signing in 2015 for "Coming of Age" - a second EP where Zimmer swaps nu-disco for a racy and melodic house - with the label Roche Musique, his second family and allowing him to develop the extent and facets of his talent.
Starting with his series of regular mixtapes, in the form of sensual journeys where the DJ reveals the extent of his musical palette, from disco to techno via house and italo, from his percussive edits remodelled for the clubs of classics, signed Chic, George Duke, Tina Turner or France Gall or from his numerous remixes for DeSaintex, Alessi Brothers, La Féline, Amtrac or Christian Löffler. Without forgetting, of course, the most famous one, the one made for Mø's "Don't Wanna Dance", which Zimmer propelled to the heart of the dancefloor and the top of the charts.
