For anyone who caught Emel Rowe and Saint Guel's electric closing set at the #EquationFestival in #Vietnam earlier this year in April, the recent announcement of their new #ForbiddenFruit residency at #Wonderfruit wouldn't come as a surprise.
Before they rock the fields, Sivilian Affairs is delighted to host this duo in our beloved red dot during the #F1 Weekender on Saturday, September 16th, with support from local maestros Ulysses and David Jacob.

>>> Emel Rowe
Emel Rowe is a Manila-based Naarm-born master of nothing who got lucky with an active ear for a feeling. He has been slowly cultivating a career in music over the last 10 years.
At a time when Manila’s music scene was still developing, Emel’s innate talent and unwavering passion catapulted him into the world of music, where he now stands as a seasoned DJ and event producer.
>>> Saint Guel
There’s a lot to be said about enjoying a DJ set. Whichever the experience, it’s often the exchange of energy that ultimately sticks — and Miguel Santiago aka Saint Guel is at the helm of it.
The Filipino DJ/producer started behind the decks at 15 and tinkered with personal production two years after. Since then, he’s carefully carving his corner: an altogether irresistibly groovy one. His recent releases on FuFu Records, More Rice Records, and Transit Records are easily breaking through as foreseeable dance floor bangers post-pandemic.
Perhaps it’s him soaking up the Manila nightlife, his frequent pilgrimage across international festivals or his inherent taste and thirst for a warbling world. Whatever it is, it’s looking like everyone is here for it.
