Raised in the outskirts of Berlin, Fadi Mohem developed a passion for electronic music during his youth. Exploring the city with a desire for graffiti and urban culture, he took his first steps as a DJ and producer in 2011.

His studies in Sound Engineering and subsequent work as a Mix & Recording Engineer granted him a set of technical skills that enhanced the sound of his own productions. Influenced by early Detroit Techno and Berlin Dub Techno, Drum & Bass, and IDM, he enjoys breaking the conventional framework as a producer, DJ, and live act. Over the past decade, he has played in various international clubs, continually challenging himself as a DJ with well-informed song selections and technical finesse, and as a live act with ever-changing hardware-only setups.

His productions and sets are characterised by a constant pursuit of groove, flow, reduction, and repetition, guided by a deep-seated commitment to the music itself. With a quick production workflow, he enjoys incorporating new unreleased tracks into his DJ sets, bridging the gap between the dance floor and the studio. Paired with rapid and razor-sharp multi-deck mixing, his DJ sets gradually build momentum, creating a unifying experience on the dance floor. In his hardware-only live sets, he crafts a unique listening experience with tracks being created on the spot. Instead of following trends, Fadi Mohem always seeks to realise his own sound ideals and remain true to his musical vision.

Now, working at Berlin's renowned record institution, Hard Wax, Fadi Mohem continues to deepen his musical knowledge and versatility as a record collector and DJ. With releases on labels such as Klockworks, Seilscheibenpfeiler, and Werk, he has laid the foundation for his work and his reputation as a producer. Having mapped out plans for his next solo productions in 2022, Fadi Mohem is paving the way forward for his musical vision.
