It’s none other than our longtime friend and resident DJ, Nic Ford - one of true veterans of the scene, to The Observatory this Saturday! He’ll be spinning alongside the fresh faces of Loop collective’s Phát Paris & dOnüt, plus Youss from Nurture, and our star player Anh Vy.

The sound that Nic Ford is able to project and develop over one of his eclectic sets can range from deep U.S house and disco to Balearic movements to droned-out hypnosis, over to mechanized, industrial techno and over again to organic rhythms and carnal house. His capacity for eclecticism is balanced by his ability to zone in and focus on concentrated flows in dedicated directions. Always put together with grace and precision, it’s music for escape in its most pure form.

Với bề dày kinh nghiệm trong ngành từ những năm 90, anh ấy là resident DJ đầu tiên tại Dry 201 (Factory Records, New Order) ở Manchester. Nic là nhà sản xuất âm nhạc, thành viên của MadderModes, một công ty sản xuất đã phát hành trên nhiều hãng ấn tượng bao gồm DRED, Voodoo Down Records và Millions of Moments. Phong cách của Nic Ford là những set nhạc chiết trung với đa thể loại từ House và Disco hay Balearic, uyển chuyển khéo léo thôi miên sang những âm điệu dồn dập huyền ảo của Techno.
